On August 10, 2022, the first master class in painting will be held for children whose parents are defending the country.
The stress caused by the war and its consequences, that Ukrainian children are currently experiencing, negatively impacts their mental health and development. Art classes are known to be a powerful therapy as through creativity you can express a traumatic experience, reinterpret it and relieve emotional tension.
During the art class children will tell their stories and share their feelings through colors with the guidance of the art studio "Creative Kitchen".
The founder of the public organization "Harmony of Development" Olga Hutsuliak, a specialist in Montessori therapy, will help them to cope with emotions and improve their mood.
"As long as children draw - life goes on!" - is the slogan of the International Charity Project "Baranovsky. Ukraine. Children", which aims to tell the world about modern Ukrainian art and support the children of Ukraine. The exhibition of children's drawings, which is currently held at the Premier Palace Hotel Kyiv, is the second event of the International Charity Project, introduced by Andriy Baranovsky and the Charitable Foundation "Inevitable Victory". The first exhibition was held in London, and the funds from the auction were donated to support children from Mariupol.
The art therapy master class will be held on the terrace of the Atmosfera panoramic restaurant on the 8th floor of the Premier Palace Hotel Kyiv.
