The first Military Run UA took place on October 10, 2021 in Kyiv on the occasion of Defenders Day and the 30th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As a further development of the Military Run UA project, Serhiy Fomenko, leader of the Mandry band, recorded the song "Anthem of the Ukrainian Military Race", the premiere was scheduled for May 2022 as it was planned to hold the Military Run UA in Mariupol on Infantry Day, and the participation of our veterans in the Soldier Field 10 race in Chicago, USA.
Due to the war in Ukraine, the event in Mariupol was canceled, but by the Military Run UA team, namely the Strategic Communications Department of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, the Charitable Foundation "Vesna!" and the Charitable Foundation "Veterans Dozen", in cooperation with the Kyiv Committee of Sisters Cities Kyiv Chicago, decided to continue organizing the Run for Ukraine project for our veterans to take part in a race in Chicago.
As an exclusive gift for this event was the release of the video clip of the band "Mandry" for the song "Military Run", which was created with the support of the Charitable Foundation "Vesna!" and the Kyiv Committee of Chicago Sisters Cities International.
