We are pleased to announce that as part of Military Run UA 2024, we will select 5 active-duty service members or veterans with amputations for a rehabilitation trip to participate in the Soldier Field 10 race in Chicago, USA, in May 2025.

What you need to know:

Selection criteria:
Candidates must have sustained injuries during military service and hold the status of an active-duty soldier or veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Both men and women are welcome to apply.

Priority:
Preference will be given to candidates with limb prosthetics and those not previously participated in international rehabilitation programs.

How to participate:

  • Run: Choose any distance and run between October 1 and 6, 2024.
  • Share: Post a photo or video of your run on Facebook and tell us why or for whom you are running.
  • Tag and mention: Tag our Facebook page (@MilitaryRunUA) and use the hashtags #Обєднані_Перемогою, #UnitedByVictory, #MilitaryRunUA.
  • Register for the selection: Complete the registration form to apply for the selection process.

Registration period for soldiers and veterans:
Opens: October 1, 2024
Closes: October 13, 2024

The Run for Ukraine project aims to support the rehabilitation of military personnel and veterans by providing additional motivation. It also seeks to honor the memory of fallen soldiers, unite veterans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with their U.S. counterparts, strengthen veteran bonds, promote socialization, and facilitate the exchange of experiences in treatment and rehabilitation for emotional and physical recovery.

Soldier Field 10 is held in Chicago in honor of Memorial Day, paying tribute to fallen U.S. soldiers.

Team members will run to express gratitude to the U.S. for its strong support of Ukraine and to stand in solidarity with U.S. veterans in the shared fight for freedom, democracy, and human rights worldwide!
