On May 28, 2022, in Chicago, USA, Ukrainian veterans took part in the Soldier Field 10 race.

Soldier Field 10 is the annual run. The race honors U.S. Armed Forces on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend dedicated to the memory of fallen US soldiers. This year it is planned to attract about 250 members of the Ukrainian diaspora, including veterans of Ukraine who defended the country in 2014-2015.

The project aims to support Ukraine, honor the memory of fallen soldiers, bridge veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with veterans of the Armed Forces of the United States, strengthen veteran friendships, and share heartfelt stories regarding medical treatments and means of rehabilitation for their emotional and physical recovery.

We are calling on runners, friends of Ukraine from across the USA and Canada to join a representative group of veterans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the annual running tribute to the US Armed Forces.

Given the critical situation of the Russian war in Ukraine, we are keen to assemble a formidable group for this high-profile event.
